Maybe "Mr. Turbo Tattoo" knows this dood ? Spotted at a car meet in Michigan in 2004. Very clean Black Buick Regal. The owner was tired of explaining that his car was not in fact a Buick Grand National Turbo, so he stuck this on and let the dummies be dummies.
Will the real GNX please stand up ?

Well, seeing as how these appear to be bare wires with no terminals I do question the owner's technical competence.

I'm simply amazed that this confusion exists. It shouldn't be that common to confuse something that has wires running to it and no exhaust or intake plumbing with a turbo (and with a drive belt!). Especially in people who are supposedly auto enthusiasts.

Agree. The engine bay wasn't pretty, but the body was in decent shape.. No SR20 of that in the archives, though. :-/
